Welcome to Adventure Mode! This is a "metroidvania" game mode for Terraria with many new features and changes, making for a completely fresh take on the vanilla experience. Here are some of the basics:
- Building and digging disabled (some exceptions).
- Use platforms, planks, ropes, and rails (via. kits) to get around.
- House kits combine NPC housing, bedding, storage, crafting, and fast travel points.
- All crafting handled with workbenches (or occasional Demon Altars).
- Access to new areas made via special Orbs (found by discovery).
- Ammo is more expensive; use wisely.
- Talk to the Guide and NPCs for directions.

A mod to introduce thematic experiences from other places as I learn to mod Terraria.
There's new uses for various kinds of rope, if you're a novice Summoner. The Guide knows more. Save those Throwing Knives to whittle with!
He also knows a couple of new tricks involving acorns that he's picked up from famous Wizards near and far; natural hedge magic that requires the use of a Living Loom.

My gosh you guys are amazing. Beyond that. I said I would make a major update for 1,000 downloads. Then you guys decided to bring that up to 2,000! I honestly have no words... Other than thank you so much! As a thank you I added I think 20+ items! I also nerfed the ever so overpowered Galactite Armor to be fair. I also went all the way and added a custom boss. It is unfinished until I figure out how to make it underworld only. But for right now enjoy the ez kills on it.
I also added in a pet alien which is crafted by the new ore I also added. That ore requires the new (unsprited) pickaxe. The Alien Anvil is currently useless but I feel it will give you time to guess what will be added next. Along with all this other stuff I mentioned I also made a new ammo. It can be used by the Galactite Blasters. Try it out for yourself! Next, I added recipes for some hard to get items. It also makes Zombie Arms useful again! Hopefully you enjoy this kinda massive update!

In case you thought this update would be 100+ items added you need to remember I only work on this about an hour a day because I have other things to do ya know!

Obtaining Galactite ore is easy enough. Just grab a hellstone pickaxe and get to mining away at the giant meteors crashed around the world! Sometimes they float in mid-air because they are alien related! (AKA I don't know how to make them stay underground) The other "Ore" Alien Fossils are collected by using the poorly sprited Galactite Pickaxe. It currently is only useful for making the Alien pet. Oh yeah I also fixed the small world problem so you can make worlds as large as you like!

This mod introduces an RPG-style class and leveling system where all monsters provide experience based on their health, defense, and damage stats. Your current level and progression is presented in a movable UI box. As you level, you unlock various bonuses and progress through three tiers of classes with several choices along the way.

Helpful NPCs is a mod that adds four new NPCs that sell items that are usually boring to get.

NPCs:
- Miner (Sells bars and gems. Spawns after defeating the EoC.)
- Hunter (Sells monster drops/soul/essence related items and ammo. Spawns after defeating EoC.)
- Fisherman (Sells bait, normal fish, and quest fish. Spawns if there is an angler.)
- Environmentalist (Sells herbs, seeds, and critters. Spawns after defeating the Queen Bee)

Thaumaturgy adds an upgraded work bench, the Thaumatrestle, which is sold by a new town NPC, the Thaumaturge, a haunted academic who wants to put his skills to use. The Thaumatrestle can be used to break down fallen stars and mana crystals into power sources - auric shards and auric cores - which can then be used to craft, shape, transform, brew, and change objects in many ways. The mod takes heavy inspiration from, but is not similar to, the Minecraft mod of a similar name, Thaumcraft, by Azanor.
